About Us
Africa Medical College is a private Higher Education Institution (HEI) established in 2005 to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in Ethiopia. The college initially launched its training programs at the diploma level in four departments: Clinical Nursing, Medical Laboratory, Pharmacy, and X-ray. Today, it offers a wide range of programs at postgraduate, undergraduate, and technical and vocational levels.

Africa Medical College is committed to:
- Preparing health care professionals for quality service delivery with an emphasis on developing skills and habits of life-long learning and producing competent professionals in health sciences and medicine disciplines.
- Support the education and training of health care providers in higher education such as professionals in Master of Public Health and Doctor of Medicine;
- Extending its commitment to higher education through master's programs;
- Advanced training and consultancy services to public and private institutions on issues related to health;
- Enhancing the dissemination of educational and health outputs through nationally and internationally recognized journals and other publications;
- Producing qualified and competent graduates in the health disciplines
- Carrying out nationally relevant research and providing community services based on research findings.

- By 2030, Africa Medical College aspires to be one of the ten leading private higher education institutions that are producing qualified graduates in the health sector nationally through holistic teaching-learning, research, and community services.
